  1. Correnna,

Wow, this is impressive! Since I'm out of the department and taking ITEC7445 as an elective, I really don't have any idea what I'll be doing. Since technology is just part of our life and youngsters just have to know how to take advantage of it, it is wonderful that you and some teachers are taking these classes to enrich the students' future.

I wonder how big the gap would be between people with technology skills and those without in a couple of decades. One of my friends in Wales does NOT use the internet at all. She and I have been pen friends for a long time. She's the only one among my pen friends who still sends me a snail mail. Please don't take me wrong; I enjoy receiving personal mails! But what I worry is that she and I will stop writing each other eventually due to the inconvenience especially on my part. I sometimes wonder what she and her 12-year old son are missing because they don't have the internet at home. Hopefully her son is learning how to use the technology at school and is catching up with peers!
